In Episode 2 of Ladylike Rejects, I sit down with someone whose story is woven deeply into my own, Tessa Dahlberg.
We talk about where our friendship began and the early days when dreams felt bigger than the road in front of us. Tessa opens up about the countless failures, pivots, rebrands, and moments that could have stopped her but didn’t. Instead of quitting, she recalibrated. Instead of shrinking, she rebuilt again and again.
Her perseverance led her to create a life rooted in purpose and compassion, serving animals, especially horses, in their final days with dignity, love, and sacred care. The work she does is not glamorous. It is not easy. But it is deeply impactful for families, for the community, and for the animals she walks home with grace.
